Nathan Newport
Nathan is a husband of 15 years and proud father of three. He spent 15 years with
Costco running day-to-day operations while always leading with a customer-first ethos.
That entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found The Fairfield Weddings and Events — and
in just year one, Fairfield hosted more than 100 weddings and generated over
$4M in revenue.
Nathan is passionate about marketing, business development, and growth strategy,
driven by a genuine love for people and building meaningful connections.
David Beer
David is a Fort Wayne-based entrepreneur who turns forgotten buildings into places
worth gathering — most notably co-founding The Fairfield, a 100-year-old building
reimagined as a multi-level venue with duck-pin bowling, bocce, golf simulators,
and a full wedding and event space.
He brings a construction and project planning background to everything he builds,
driven by a genuine love for investing in the local community — and channels that
same energy into his work with Select Venue Marketing.
Fun fact: His goal is to own a bison farm one day.
Gibran Khan
Gibran has navigated five career paths — from labor rights in global supply chains
to entrepreneurship programs at Google to leadership coaching for small business
executives and nonprofit leaders. He went to nine schools by age 10 and has lived
in seven cities internationally.
That eclectic life has given him something most marketers don't have: the ability
to connect with people from every walk of life. He combines that
empathetic approach with real business acumen to create seamless marketing solutions
for wedding venue owners.
Jennifer Cecil
From single mom to award-winning CEO, Jen turned her passion for human connection
into a thriving marketing business. Today she's a growth partner for business owners,
teaching them how to turn their content into consistent, qualified leads
using a simple, value-first strategy.
Her work has earned Platinum awards in social media strategy, digital marketing,
and professional coaching — but what really sets her apart is her ability to simplify
